Aligned Event Submissions

Friends of the Bluff is open to sharing with our constituents about events or programs for aligned community organizations. As time allows, FOB will commit to posting one or more times on social media, one or more mentions in a general FOB membership email and on our Aligned Events web page. Other avenues or promotion will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We are a local, focused grass-roots group of volunteers so we can’t promise to meet your request, but it will be considered. under the following conditions.

* If Friends of the Bluff is an active participant in your event, please use this form to get started together, then follow up with the contact form if necessary

Criteria

To be shared, the non-FOB and event must:

  1. Fit within the general category of FOB's mission and constituents

  2. Align with our mission and values

  3. Not compete with our efforts

  4. Have structure including concrete organization and point of public contact, as well as legitimate formal approval, permits and permissions *requires proof

  5. Provide all necessary promotional text and graphics

You must also be willing to reciprocate in publicizing FOB programs or activities in at a similar level.

How we can help

We are open to helping publicize your event or program by including the message and photo (as time allows):

  1. In one of more social media posts

  2. As content in one or more general FOB emails (below FOB-specific content)

  3. As a listing on the Aligned Events page on our website

  • ALL finalized content and 1 graphic must be provided ahead of time, including proof of approval by the appropriate authorities as per Spokane Parks requirements. Content is subject to editing for clarity and length.

Limits

Unless a formal partnership is in place, we will not:

  1. actively recruit volunteers

  2. be listed as a partner

  3. allow our logo to be put on print or electronic promotional content

  4. promote fundraising

  5. or otherwise participate.

 

Submission Requirements
  1. Fill out the form below to provide event named, organization, date, location, and general info.

  2. Provide a photo or graphic, if you'd like one included

  3. Provide proof of approval from a legitimate authority according to Spokane Parks and Rec guidelines.

  4. Submit the form 4+ weekprior to your start date

* Please don’t omit any of this as we really are a lean group of busy volunteers passionate about the Bluff and don’t have time to follow up with questions or request for photos, graphics or proof of approval..
