About the event

Join Friends of the Bluff and John Hancock, the West Plains Water Coalition’s founder and President, for an information session about local update about “Forever Chemicals.” 


The presentation will include updates about the West Plains PFAS investigations, Chad Pritchard’s testing in Latah Creek and the Spokane River, implications of new EPA standards, Spokane County’s Clean Water Task Force, national PFAS trends, and opportunities to participate.


West Plains Water Coalition is a volunteer citizen group bringing attention to PFAS-polluted wells and groundwater near Spokane, Washington. The Coalition is a registered 501(c)(3) charity.  Details at http://westplainwater.org


John Hancock is the former Executive Director of the Spokane Symphony and Fox Theater, now a rural resident on Deep Creek, and a long-time community volunteer in public affairs.
