About the event

As of 12-23-2025, the City of Spokane and Spokane Fire Department have fuel reduced 212 acres on the South Hill Bluff. This is part of an ongoing effort to increase Forest Health and reduce wildfire risk across The City of Spokane. Most of the work is complete, but they are still finishing with some chipping and touch ups. The remainder of the work will take place at the beginning of January.  Nick Jeffries, The Wildland Resource Planner for the Spokane Fire Department is going to do a presentation followed by a question and answer session on January 13 at 6 PM at the Woman's Club on the South Hill at 1428 W. 9th Ave.
