The High Drive Bluff faces two imminent threats from proposed housing developments. The most immediate threat is the Deep Pines housing development. The current proposal going before the City of Spokane Principal Planner cuts off public access to an adjacent section of publicly-owned conservation land, which the Friends of the Bluff board sees as a clear violation of City law.
