Our Board of Directors
A fourth-generation Spokanite, Trevor Finchamp lived in the southwest and midwest before finding his way home to the northwest for good. After moving to the South Hill in 2015, he began using the bluff regularly for trail running and eventually joined the board in 2019 after attending a few FOB events. Since then, his passion for protecting and enjoying the outdoors has grown tenfold.
In his day job, Trevor works as a Videographer and Public Relations consultant, but his work with Friends of the Bluff has inspired him to pursue a career more focused on helping non-profits.
Phil Larkin has been a Spokane resident since 2015 and grew up in Central Washington. His interest in the bluff stems from his desire to reduce fire risk and love for open space.
Rebecca and her family have enjoyed hiking and mountain biking The Bluff for nearly 20 years. Spokane takes great pride in its parks and Rebecca is honored to join the board toward the preservation of The Bluff as a wildlife corridor, for its scenic views, and recreation amongst nature rare within city limits.
When not in hiking boots, Rebecca and her husband are long-time small business owners and active supporters of the Spokane community.
A displaced Texan turned Spokanite, moved to the South Hill in 2014. She ended up living 4 blocks from the Bluff and fell in love with it immediately. "Whether I need a walk or a run, a short nature respite, or a place to exercise the pups so they don’t drive me crazy, the bluff has always delivered."
Julie joined the board shortly after the illegal road was bulldozed in 2017 just below her access.
Emma joined the Bluff Board in January 2020 to organize educational walks on the Bluff. She has a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and works for the youth development nonprofit, Camp Fire Inland Northwest, as the Program Coordinator and Camp Dart-Lo Director. She has many years' experience creating and leading outdoor education lessons and coordinating volunteers and events for families and youth.
Her favorite activities on the Bluff are walking her puppy and brushing up on her knowledge of the local flora and fauna. Emma is excited to connect the community with nature through the Bluff Walks program!

Dee moved to Spokane in 2015 and grew up in SMALL town Iowa.
She joined the Board in January of 2020 after participating in a tree planting event in 2019 with Trevor. She shares her graphic design talents with Friends of the Bluff through web design, promotional design, and social media management.
John Pollack has been a user of the bluff and neighboring wild areas since his childhood. He designs and builds everything from furniture to car parts. When not wandering on the bluff can be found rock climbing, bicycling, and trying to fix old cars.
Member at Large
Conner moved to Spokane in 2009 to attend college (Go Zags!) and never left. His interest in conservation and preservation of public land motivated him to join the board. He can often be found running the bluff trails, fly fishing, or exploring other parks and recreation areas in the city and surrounding areas of Spokane.
When not in Spokane, he and his wife Ashley are working their way through visiting every national park and baseball stadium in the U.S.
